Umpiring
Do you want to become
an umpire?
Are you interested in taking the first step on the umpiring pathway; a Hockey Young Ambassador interested in umpiring; a teacher or TA interested in bringing hockey to your school; or a parent helper with your local hockey club?
The Introduction to Umpiring or Level 1 Umpire Award would be the ideal starting point for you. It is great for anyone new to umpiring and for those who want to gain additional knowledge on their umpiring journey.
Umpiring Courses
Introductory Club Umpire
Must have completed the Introduction to Umpiring course but does not need to have been assessed
Level One Umpire
Must have completed the Level 1 Training Course and been successfully Assessed as Evidence of Suitability
Club Umpire
Must have completed the Level 1 Umpire Training Course but does not need to have been assessed
Regional Umpire
Must have completed the Level 1 Training Course and been assessed as further evidence of suitability to progress
Level Two Umpire
Must have completed new Level 2 Umpire Award and Regional Assessment
